Tenthaus would like to thank you for the year that has been. The year started with Forevereando, a fantastic exhibition with Lucia Aragon and Juan Andres Milanes. We just had time for a collective dinner with Åsa Elzén before the lockdown in March. During the lockdown we completed our new website with good help from Ariane Spanier and Magnus Liistamo, we also started with weekly radio broadcasts in collaboration with InterFM, something we have had in mind for a long time. For the radio Rachel Dagnall produced a massive work in the form of 12 episodes with the title Sonic Scenography. Despite the pandemic, we have been able to start up and complete several workshops with schools. The meeting between artists and students is part of our core activity and we are therefore proud to continue the ten year long project Farger for håp og likeverd with Lise Bjørne Linnert and fourth grade at Møllergata skole. Eli Eines met students from Hersleb school in connection with her works for the exhibition Unteachable Moments with Eli Eines / Lesia Vasylchenko which opens in January 2021. Vibeke Frost Andersen started exploring Alnaelva in collaboration with students from Hersleb school as part of a larger work that will be completed next year. During the year we also saw work of members from the Tenthaus collective, Meera Manjit Kaur with the timely exhibition “Masala chai with a hint of racism” and Stan D´Haene with the long-running workshop “Håndstil Hagearbeid”. P1 – mobile studio ended its stay at PARK. in collaboration with LevArt, with resident artists Sissel M Bergh, Ida Warholm Bjørken, Thomas Holth and Tenthaus / Futurefarmers, before moving to Saupstad in Trondheim with Hasan Daraghmeh and Carlos Correia.

During 2020, Tenthaus has expanded to become an art collective where we explore the collective, the transfer of knowledge and experiences through collaborations over generations. This is something we look forward to developing further in 2021.

Tenthaus wishes you all the best for the new year with warm warm greetings from Mechu, Ida, Matilde, Stan, Shahrzad, Helen, Ebba, Thomas, Nikhil, James, Stefan, Meera, Hamza
