Radio Tenthaus is a new discursive platform open to artists from across different disciplines and backgrounds from sound to visual art, text, spoken word and much more. This multi-disciplinary radio programme will broadcast weekly via the multilingual radio station: InterFM.
As well as providing a bridge to our wider program of exhibitions and events, Radio Tenthaus will also give artists from across our global network the opportunity to meet political trends, events and needs that arise at a given time and place. In this way Radio Tenthaus continues Tenthaus’s broader role to capture societal issues through artistic practice, which takes its inspiration from Tania Bruguera’s concept of “political-timing-specificity”.
Radio Tenthaus feature artworks for radio including soundscapes, radio montage, field recordings, readings, audio documentary and sound collage alongside music and discussions between contributors from various backgrounds. Each program will also be archived and made available in the form of digital podcasts via the Tenthaus website.
