Kross’ journey from Brisbane to Oslo
Come on a autobiographical, musical trip with Kirsty Kross tonight on Radio Tenthaus at interfm.no / 105,8FM.Conceived during the biggest flood ever to hit Brisbane, Queensland in 100 years. Kirsty grew up under the Shadow of the Apocalypse as her family were members of a fundamentalist Christian sect. Literally bursting out of these confines at the age of twenty. Kirsty became active in the eccentric underground of Brisbane, co-creating the electropunk cabaret music/performance group Team Plastique in 2000.
KIRSTY KROSS studied a Masters at the Berlin University of the Arts and became an artist working mostly in performance. Since 2015, Kirsty has been living in Oslo and has exhibited or performed extensively in Tenthaus, The Bergen Assembly, Kunsthall Oslo, PINK CUBE and will perform at the opening of Høstutstillingen in September.
The live radio show tonight will feature music by Team Plastique as well as musician friends from Brisbane, Berlin and Oslo. Do tune in from 8-11PM tonight.
