Tenthaus hosted the exhibition “Dandara” by artist and documentary photographer Maya Økland 02. June to 26. June 2022. The exhibition Dandara, is dedicated to the trans woman Dandara do Santos and the cis woman Dandara who were both subjected to deadly violence because they chose to live their lives in freedom. 

Radio Tenthaus were excited to have a lovely conversation with Maya Økland and the curator of the exhibition Tatiana Lozano, hosted by Wei Ting Zeng. It was after the exhibition opening and Brazilian lunch hosted by Maya’s dear mother Raimunda Vieira Okland. The weather was lovely, and we had a wonderful conversation together about the exhibition and its process of it.
