Radio Tenthaus & Street Art Oslo present All City: a series of in-depth, autobiographical interviews with leading figures from the world of street art and graffiti. Join Street Art Oslo founder James Finucane and guests as they embark on a three-hour chat and musical odyssey exploring the milestones and music that have shaped their life and work to date.
To go All City was a shared goal among graffiti writers during the formative years of the modern-day graffiti movement. Whilst fame and recognition was initially achieved by tagging the streets on foot, writers soon recognised painting trains as a high-risk, high-reward shortcut to creating ubiquitous and highly visible mobile artworks.
Mirroring the ubiquity of hand-painted trains that once rolled through the same cityscape, Street Art Oslo embraces the All City concept by inviting artists, curators, producers and academics from the world of street art and graffiti to speak about their practice on the Radio Tenthaus city-wide FM platform.
Street Art Oslo is an online platform and IRL network of artists, curators, producers and scholars dedicated to improving conditions for the production, reception and dissemination of street art and its associated movements in Oslo and the surrounding region.
JAMES FINUCANE is a writer, curator, producer and artist specializing in street and public art. He is the founder of Street Art Oslo and co-founder Subvertising Norway, a non-profit collective of artists, activists and designers dedicated to questioning who has the power and authority to communicate messages and create meaning in public space.
