Nikhil Vettukattil and James Finucane are in the studio and they will have a talk with curator and one of the founders of Oslo Art Weekend, Silja Leifsdottir. James, Ebba Moi and Helen Eriksen from Tenthaus also had a discussion about Strand kommune´s controversial open competition, Norsk billedhoggerforening´s public response, and whether it is ever ok for artists to not get paid for public art competitions.
We will also revisit a lunch at Tenthaus from 23rd September 2019 with independent curator and researcher Sadya Mizan. For the occasion Tenthaus invited guests to discuss Sadya´s research topic “How can we document the process-oriented art scene? Can storytelling and indigenous knowledge be a way to preserve the memory of the present?”
